A brand with a colossal collection of shoes for men that is often identified with an equally colossal wall of stacked shoeboxes that lined the interior spaces.  For the two-story façade in Sydney Australia CARBONDALE transformed the foreboding representation of “choice” into an intriguing architectural edifice for the brand. The facade design is materialized as a multi-layered collage of colored glass squares and rectangles, to all appearances magically suspended within the thickness of the façade. The box shapes are colored in classical shoe-leathers tones of black, brown and sand and punctually micro-perforated with the Florsheim crest inspired by the wingtip brogue shoe leather detailing.
